Application Guidance
Please read before completing the application form
This service is only for:
- Applicants who hold non-EU qualifications at the degree level who wish to apply for course exemption only
- Applicants who hold EU qualifications at the higher education level of HNC, HND, FD or degree who wish to apply for course and/or examination exemptions.
This service is NOT TO BE USED for any other query on:
- Queries about IAMI examinations for Deck Yacht or OOW engineering: submit your query to the IAMI examination centre
- Queries about MCA examination: submit your query to the SQA/MCA examination centre
- Engineers who have gained their qualifications as part of an approved Engineering Officer Cadetship
do not need to use this service but should apply directly to the MCA with documentation from
their approved academic institution.
